My friends Emily, Ryan and Caitlin threw us an AMAZING shower for Laney a couple of weeks ago. Check out Emily's blog here for the details and pics.
Laney's Room.

Well it's basically finished. There's just one more detail to add, we have to hang a shelf, but I think it's ready enough to be blogged.
This is her bed.
I chose Anna Maria Horner's Trellis in rose and Tanya Whelan's Dolce.
On the inside of the bumper I used light pink minky dot, and her crib sheet is from pottery barn kids.
Her dust ruffle is white pique with the Tanya Whelan fabric again.
This is the sweet monogrammed blanket my grandmother gave Laney.
I've framed all these sweet pictures of my mom as a baby and put them around the room.
And here is the mobile I made to go over her bed. I really love how it turned out!
I also used the white pique for the drapes. I just love white, it makes everything feel so light and clean!
The twin bed, is the antique brass bed that belonged to my grandmother. It became mine sometime after she passed, and I always knew it would be my little girls first bed.
The fabric I used on the twin bed is Amy Butler's Love, Sandlewood in ivory. I love how bright and happy this fabric makes the room!
We got this cute dresser from IKEA for her room, and I added these knobs from anthro to it to make it a little more girly!
I hung the cute wreath from the baby shower Emily, Caitlin and Ryan threw us. It's adorable!
I really love her room! Good thing! Because I think I'm about to have to spend a lot of time in there! :)
Montgomery (part 2).

Now that Emily and Josh are engaged and we all have that secret off our chests, I can go back to my weekend in Montgomery posts.
While I was there my Mom and Lizzie participated in a 5k walk/run for breast cancer. My SIL's mother, Jeannie, is one of my mom's closest friends. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and this year she's cancer free and walking the 5k!
While they were walking, little Campbell and I hung out in the "kid zone". She got her face painted and danced to the band.
That was all on Saturday, and on Sunday I had a wonderful shower thrown by some really wonderful people!
Lacey, Erin, Me, Lizzie (sis), Campbell, Casey, Claire, Emily (SIL) and Mrs. Mitchell (erin and lacey's mom)
I was so overwhelmed and humbled by all the people who came and gave sweet little Laney a gift. It was a really great shower and I am beyond grateful.
