Happy birthday to...ME!

That's right, last week I turned 28. I, honestly, didn't want to make a big deal of it, because, well you know, there's a big one coming up in a couple of years and THAT will be a PARTY!

I started off the celebration of 28 with my wonderful friend, Emily, on the Saturday before my birthday (it was on a Monday).

It was a REALLY fun day!

Ok, so, onto the actually day of my birth. I got served some delicious french toast in bed! That was a first and it made me LOVE being married even more! Then off to work I went to be showered with gifts and balloons from my sweet co-workers! After work we met some friends for dinner at one of my favorite places on the East side.





We also really missed, Cait...



But, one of the highlights of the night was when my good friend, Patty, dropped by the East side to say "hi". You can't see her, but she's in there! I promise!

What to do...

One thing I REALLY love about my job is that I get 1/2 day Fridays. And, actually, a lot of Fridays I have to use my comp time so they twist my arm and make me take the whole day off. :)

So, what to do with a whole Friday to myself? Everyone else is at work and I'm home alone. So one Friday I decided to bake cookies and deliver them to our friends! It gave me something to do, and my friends were able to benefit from it too!
