I've been busy sewing lately. Still down 2 bumper pads, twin dust ruffle and curtains, but they're all in the works (and in some cases I'm still waiting on fabric I ordered to come in). But, in the mean time, I made her this...



It's a blanket and a burp cloth. I love the home decor fabric weight, and it makes for a sturdy side to the blanket with the other side being SO soft in minkey dot. Ugh...babies are so lucky! I want to wrap myself up in minkey dot all day (hmm..if only).

We have a busy weekend ahead! With Good Friday service at church tomorrow, Easter Egg hunt at church Saturday morning and service on Sunday! Looks like we'll be driving to Franklin a lot over the next few days.

Campbell's Birthday

A BIG post with LOTS of pictures...

Slacker.

I have been a slacker in my blog posting lately. I really do have so much to post about, and so many fun pictures to share, but we canceled our Internet in the fall, and it's hard to find time to post. However, I'm happy to report that Eric has an online class this summer, which means Internet will be returning to the G household in May! Woo hoo!! Just in time for baby and maternity leave!

We're almost done with the nursery. Just a few finishing touches left to go! I love it! Eric has come upstairs a few times and caught me just sitting in there staring, because I love her room so much. I can't wait to post pictures soon!

Even though today is Wednesday, to me it feels like Friday because I'm off the rest of the week! Mommy is on spring break and coming to hang out for the rest of the week! I can't wait! She'll be here when I get home from work!

So..happy Friday! :)

I FINALLY made a decision!

The fabric has been ordered! I feel so relieved. Now just to do all the sewing. Yikes!

What I ended up choosing is not what I originally had in mind, but once I thought of the big picture, and how it will pull the whole room together, I got REALLY excited!

We're planning to begin work on the nursery next weekend! Eric's spring break starts Friday (thank the Lord!!!).

I'll also use a solid color, but I'm not for sure on what color I'm going to use.
